Gearing up for the 2015 Bike Tour

By October 7, 2015News & Announcements2 min read

In a matter a few short days, the ReGENERATION Partners team will head to Europe with clients and partners from around the globe to indulge in every cyclists’ dream road tour. On Sat. Oct. 16th riders will feast on a dinner fit for a king at the Manor House Hotel in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire.

The 2015 RP Bike Tour officially kicks off – or should we say “clicks-in” – on Sunday for a 40 mile jaunt through some of England’s most historic places, including William Shakespeare’s home in Stratford-upon-Avon, where riders will enjoy a live performance of a Shakespearian play. The tour will continue through rolling hills and grasslands of the Cotswolds, which is the picture book backdrop of thatched medieval villages, churches and stately homes.

Cyclists will get an early start on Monday as they pedal their way past the home of Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace and the University of Oxford. The excitement of the tour continues on Tuesday as cyclists are transported to the home of Prince Charles where they’ll make their way down the Iron Age Roman Road (the Fosse Way) to the ancient city of Bath, known for its natural hot springs and 18th-century Georgian architecture.

The tour will end with a morning ride on Wednesday along the river Thames leading to the William Morris home at Kelmscott and Bampton where the outdoor scenes of Downton Abbey are filmed.

The ReGENERATION Partners team regularly plans exciting activities and retreats, like the 2015 Bike Tour, as a means to bring greater unity among family business members. Every retreat is designed specifically around the interests, needs and budget of the family business.
